The judges on Washington's Supreme Court hire at differing intervals and none adhere to the federal schedule. Those wishing to apply for the term beginning in 08/09 should contact the chambers* for information on timelines and necessary materials.
*All numbers are 360 area code:
Gerry Alexander: 357-2030 Charles Johnson: 357-2021 Barbara Madsen: 357-2038 Richard Sanders: 357-2026 Tom Chambers: 357-2046 Susan Owens: 357-2042 Mary Fairhurst: 357-2054 James Johnson: 357-2034 Debra Stephens: 357-2050
Justice Stephens has hired. Justice C. Johnson said he was going to hire after the election. Now that he has won 50% of the primary vote, he is guaranteed victory. So he might start his hiring process now.
