many of the judges have "no information" listed in OSCAR. are all of these not participating in OSCAR (or have career clerks)or will some of them still post positions this late in the summer?
Some of these judges will not post until later in the summer or even into the fall. Judge Reeves should have at least one position available in Frankfort.
Per chambers, Judge Thapar has only one spot left. He is calling grads and planning to interview them with the 3Ls in Covington, KY. Apparently he and his clerks spend most of the time there, even though his official duty station is London, KY. His chambers also noted that he and the clerks travel weekly to sit in different locations throughout the state.
Question for Aug. 23, 2008 post: Do you know if Judge Thapar has already started calling grads? I have not received any communication from Judge Thapar. Thanks!
"Thank you for your application and interest in a clerkship in my chambers for the 2009-10 term. We only had one spot and many great applicants. We are humbled by your interest. We wanted to let you know that we have filled the position. Best of luck in your careers."
Most of the recent posts are questions of "Any one heard from __insert judge name___?"
Those questions are ones that I have AND questions that other applicants that are friends of mine have....
SO -- what's the consensus around here --- are Judges calling and no one is posting? Are people getting interviewed and they don't use the blog? OR is there still a chance that some of these Judges haven't made calls yet? Thoughts?

Judge Hood's position is filled. Excerpt from his email sent today: "The 2009-2010 clerkship position has been filled."
Thapar's hire was from Columbia. The other two he hired earlier in the season and were from NYU and UK.

Heyburn has finished hiring.
Coffman is done
Caldwell is done, per OSCAR
Russell started scheduling interviews last Friday. He is in trial this week and should be interviewing next week and the week after.
So Russell is finished calling for interviews then?
Russell didn't call or email- he sent letters in the mail. It was dated Sept 18th.
Bunning has filled his position.
Russell has filled at least one of his positions.
Reeves has also filled at least one position with a graduate.

Reeves second hire is a Louisville 3L.
