Post an anonymous comment with information regarding clerkship interviews, hirings, vacancies, and the like, regarding the U.S. District Court Judges of Washington.
Seattle judges tend to have a strong preference towards applicants with Northwest connections. It's that whole "go away if you aren't from here" attitude. But strong credentials can probably overcome that as many judges have hired from top schools outside the Northwest.
Law review editors are notoriously unpleasant people. Any word on Judge Robart? I applied from out east, so I know it's a long shot, but his OSCAR posting made him sound like a guy who would step outside the usual.

Does Coughenour give exploding offers? Any word on how many people he's interviewed?
Any word on Lasnik?
do WA judges all follow the plan for current 3Ls? or do some of them hire earlier?
also, does anyone know how easy it is to get an interview without a strong link to seattle?

Judge Coughenour hired the UW's Washington Law Review Editor-in-Chief.
Judge Lasnik only hires clerks with at least one year of post-grad experience, and he hires late (as in April)
Did Coughenour only have one slot, or is he still hiring another clerk?
martinez is done, per rejection email.

Robart has hired for 2009.
Any word from Settle?
Just got an email from J. Lasnik's assistant asking if I still want to be considered. Anyone else get this? Is it no news or good news for recipients?
Does anyone know about Judge Robart's hiring timeframe for the temporary clerkship?
