Hi! Does anyone have a sense for whether the process is underway, or where it stands? Just curious

I know someone who already got a clerkship with Justice Eid.

Hobbs is already done hiring.

If you didn't go to CU, DU, Harvard, Yale, or Stanford, do you really have a chance at getting one of these? Anyone know?

Yep, I know someone from Michigan who got in.

Martinez has started calling.

Rice is done. Eid is still interviewing.

Eid is done.

From the above posts, it appears that Justices Hobbs, Rice, Eid and (probably) Martinez have hired. Does anyone know whether Justices Mullarkey, Bender or Coats have yet hired?

Anonymous said...

Bender has hired at least one.

If past practice is any indication, Coats will hire much later than the rest.

Chief Justice Mullarkey is interviewing.

Any new developments to report since November?

Coats is the only justice to not have hired, though he typically waits until late spring or early summer to hire.
